Every bride wants to make sure that she looks her absolute best on her wedding day, but I want to give you a few key tips on what you should focus on, and what you should avoid leading up to your wedding day.
Hands down the best option for tanning is to get connected with the best spray tan artist in town, and that’s none other than Lindy over at Tanology! She has the best process for spray tanning I’ve ever seen. I use to think of spray tans like the one Ross got on Friends. (You got 2 more 2’s?!?! I’m an EIGHT!!!) However Tanology’s tans are so natural looking and basically perfect. They custom mix your exact color for you so that you get a nice and natural glow, perfect for your wedding. I always recommend for weddings going at least three or four times before the wedding to make sure it really sets in.
Another great pre wedding activity to do for yourself is to go and get a massage and facial a day or two before the wedding! This will help you relax and help fight off the pesky stress acne that might be coming in. Make a day out of it with a couple of your best girl friends and/or your mom. It’s important to treat yourself before the most important day of your life!
If you regularly get your brows/armpits/bikini waxed be sure to line up an appointment a day or two before the wedding for this as well. Just keep in mind not to schedule a spray tan right after getting waxed, cause that would not feel great! If you’ve never waxed I highly suggest the sugar waxing from Tanology.
Always keep a bottle of water close by the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding day. This will help your skin look fresh and glowing on your wedding day. Plus summer weddings you’ll probably be sweating a bunch and you’ll need to stay hydrated to make it through the day.
Make sure that if you plan on getting your hair colored before the wedding you do so a couple days in advance. This is also a great time to go ahead and have your extensions put in.
There is seemingly a lot to do. However these are important aspects of the wedding so that you are full of confidence in your self and how you look. You’ll be able to see the difference if you aren’t sure about how you look on your wedding day. You are going to be the most beautiful bride and your photos will show just that!
