During our initial consultation—whether in person, over video, or by phone—we’ll discuss your wedding vision, the destination details, and the overall feel you’re aiming to achieve. I’ll walk you through my photography approach, review collection options, and answer any questions you have about coverage and logistics. The goal of this call is to ensure you feel fully informed and confident in the process, and to finalize your booking so we can begin planning your unforgettable destination wedding experience.
After booking, I’ll send you a welcome gift with an outline of everything to come, travel logistics, and any extras. We’ll collaborate on your ideal photography timeline, including special moments like rehearsal dinners or morning-of coverage, ensuring every detail aligns with your vision. This step ensures that your destination wedding photography experience is truly aligned to your needs, allowing you to relax and focus on celebrating your love story, being present.
A local engagement session allows us to capture your love story in a meaningful, relaxed setting close to home. This is an opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and showcase your connection before the wedding day. If you prefer, we can also plan a destination engagement session at your wedding location, adding a beautiful, cohesive element to your story. Either way, this session helps build confidence and provides timeless images that celebrate your journey together.
Three months before your wedding day, we’ll meet to review your complete itinerary—including travel plans, arrival times, and all events on your schedule. During this meeting, we’ll overlay your photography coverage over each part of the itinerary, ensuring every meaningful moment is seamlessly captured. This step guarantees that no detail is overlooked, so you can be fully present and enjoy the celebration, knowing your story is being preserved.
As your wedding date approaches, I’ll finalize all travel arrangements to ensure a smooth experience. I typically arrive at the destination 2 days before the wedding to scout the venue, meet with the planning team, and assess lighting conditions. This preparation ensures I’m fully familiar with the location, ready to capture every detail, and completely aligned with the flow of your wedding weekend.
From the welcome party to the farewell brunch, I’ll be there to document every part of your destination wedding experience. This includes not just the wedding day itself, but also group activities, rehearsal dinners, beach days, catamaran cruises, and any other special events you’ve planned. My goal is to capture the full story of your celebration—every laugh, every tear, every sunset toast—so you can relive the magic of your destination wedding weekend for years to come.
Eight to ten weeks after your wedding, you’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery of your images. We’ll schedule a Reveal Celebration to experience your photos for the first time, reliving every emotion and memory together. During this session, we’ll review your album design and finalize your heirloom products, ensuring that your love story is preserved in the most meaningful way possible.

Absolutely, and they should. Unless you're Ross Geller then you probably haven't proposed to anyone before. There are specific planners that specialize in this, but I love helping you figure out all of the details and pulling of the perfect proposal!
The photographer you hire for the proposal should make you feel comfortable and confident that they can capture the right moments you want for the proposal. I always connect with you and ask questions to make sure I fully understand your wants and needs.
Pricing will range from photographer to photographer. My proposal package starts at $750 for local proposals in and around Auburn, AL. Destination proposals will cost a little more, but come with more coverage and final images.
Typically I like to have at the very least a month to communicate and connect with you and prepare for the session. More time is even better. A photographer should be the first thing you search for because of availability.
The right photographer will care about your story, want to learn about your values, your desires, and your vision for the proposal, instead of just showing up without any communication. Do your research as this is an important decision.
Planning a proposal is one of the most exciting—and nerve-wracking—experiences of your life. You’re not just asking a question; you’re creating a memory that will last forever. But with so many details to consider—location, timing, her reaction, the perfect moment—it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
That’s where I come in. I’m here to be your guide and partner in this journey, handling every detail so you can focus on what matters most: the love you share. From planning and logistics to capturing every emotion, I’ll make sure you have the confidence to propose with ease and the images to relive that moment for a lifetime. Let’s create a proposal that’s as unforgettable as the “yes” you’re waiting for.
